Numerator: automatic numberer

Trodat Auto Numberers are heavy duty self-inking stamps that allow you to sequentially number documents. The stamp mechanism automatically rotates to print the next number with each impression. Numberers are mostly metal, although some models have plastic bodies. The number of bands and the character height vary from one model to another. Some numberers allow you to repeat a number before proceeding to the next number. This repetition is set by the user, and can vary from 1 to 20 times.

Auto Numberers are often used where accountancy practice dictates the use of sequentially numbered documents for audit and control purposes. Additionally, they may be used for the control of product promotions, vouchers or ticketing. They are particularly suitable for safety-related markings, quality assurance processes and as numbered invitation cards.
